ADD in the Inclusive Classroom
Today I am putting the finishing touches on a presentation about strategies for addressing ADD in the classroom. I have been preparing for this for the past couple months. I have to admit much of this preparation has been in the form of thinking, "I better get on that presentation." There is so much information about attention deficit disorder it is daunting to sift through and choose what aspects to address in a 90 minute time frame. Ultimately I chose to hit the high points of what we actually know, share some practical strategies and focus a great deal on how we interact with students identified with ADD. Look on the sidebars of this blog for links to other blogs, books and websites to expand your view of ADD.
